Research Summary

I am a current PhD student supervised by Professor James Kirkbride (UCL) and Dr Juliana Onwumere (KCL).

My research aims to bring together psychiatric epidemiology, social neuroscience and neurobiology to investigate the associations between racial discrimination and the elevated risk of psychosis for people from minoritised ethnic backgrounds. Through my research, I will be investigating the potential roles of social cognition and allostatic load.

My main research interest is racial inequities in mental health, as well as psychiatric epidemiology, social psychology and social neuroscience.
