Biography

Ivanna Pavisic did her undergraduate at Université de Lausanne, Switzerland where she obtained a Biology degree. She then continued her studies at UCL doing a masters in Translational Neurology focusing on visual impairments in Parkinson's disease. She is currently undertaking her last year of PhD at UCL, Queen Square Institute of Neurology.

Research Summary

She is a PhD student and research assistant working at the Dementia Research Centre, Queen Square Institute of Neurology at UCL.
Her work focuses on the characterization of familial Alzheimer's disease (FAD), mainly looking at short-term memory impairments in asymptomatic stages of the disease, as well as the clinical features of symptomatic stages and their relationship to disease progression.

She also is the FAD facilitator at Rare Dementia Support (since 2018), a UK based charity that works to support people affected by a rare dementia such as FAD.
