Dr Ioannis Psaras is an EPSRC Fellow (2015-2020) and Lecturer (since Sept. 2016) at the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of UCL. He is interested in resource management techniques for current and future networking architectures with particular focus on routing, caching and congestion control. Recently, he has been heavily involved in the effort to shift the Internet towards an Information-Centric Networking environment. Before joining UCL in 2010, he held positions at the University of Surrey, and Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, where he also obtained his PhD in 2008.
Dr Psaras has extensive experience in leading cutting-edge research and managing the development and implementation of proof-of-concept prototypes. Current active projects include:

I teach Quality of Service at the "Introduction to IP Networks" module of the MSc Communications Programme.
