Biography

Julie is an Associate Professor in Medical Statistics at the Department of Statistical Science and a member of the Biostatistics Group at the Joint Research Office within the NIHR UCLH/UCL Biomedical Research Centre. Following completion of her BSc at Durham University, Julie undertook an MSc in Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and then a PhD at Imperial College looking at statistical issues in economic evaluations of randomised trials. Prior to joining UCL Julie worked at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and MRC Clinical Trials Unit.
