Biography
I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedicine at the University of East Anglia (2012). After this I undertook a Master’s degree in Neuroscience at King’s College London and then completed a Ph.D at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, investigating the potential of enteric neural stem cells for treating spinal cord injury (2017). I decided to further explore neurodegeneration and so accepted a post-doc at the DZNE in Bonn, Germany, exploring pharmacological methods of affecting the spread of Parkinson’s disease-associated pathology. Most recently, I have accepted a post-doc position in the laboratory of Dr Conor McCann, working on stem cell therapies for the enteric neuropathy Hirschprung disease.
