Biography
Dr Hayes has an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD in Psychiatric Epidemiology from UCL.
He is currently a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Career Development Fellow, an Honorary Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry in Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust and an Honorary Public Health Consultant at Public Health England. He is on the editorial board of the British Journal of Psychiatry and the International Journal of Bipolar Disorders. He is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council for Mental Health.
He was previously a NIHR UCLH Biomedical Research Center Fellow, MRC Population Health Scientist Fellow. He completed psychiatric training in Oxford and North London.
