I obtained my PhD in the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge in November 2016. My research background lies in the areas of Psychology of Education. I obtained the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), British Psychological Society, in October 2012.
Currently, my main position at IOE is Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Teacher and Early Years Education. I also work as a Lecturer (Teaching) for the MA Education Programme at the Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment. Meanwhile, I co-supervise PhD students at IOE.


My current research projects mainly focus on the following areas:
- children's voices in early childhood education and care;
- transition period from preschool to primary education;
- the development and evaluation of parenting programmes;
- early years teacher continuing professional development.
I am currently teaching:

- MA Early Years Education
As a co-supervisor, I can support PhD students whose research looks into the following topics:

- Agency
- Children's wellbeing
- Motivation theories
- Q methodology
