Biography
I received my Diplom (MSc) in Biology from the University of Cologne, Germany in 2009. Thereafter, I moved to University of Cambridge to work under Prof James Fawcett and Prof Keith Martin for a PhD. In 2014 I moved to UCL to work with Prof Dmitri Rusakov.

My postdoctoral work deals with revealing astrocytic receptors in the vicinity of synapses using super-resolution microscopy.
Teaching Summary
I act as secondary supervisor for PhD students and as primary and secondary supervisor for MSc students. Additionally, I am involved in diverse teaching activities in several MSc courses; MSc Clinical Neuroscience, MRes Translational Neurology and MSc Dementia.
