Biography
I am an Associate Professor (teaching), working in the postgraduate medical education team at UCLMS. I am the Continuing Professional Development Lead and a Personal Tutor for the postgraduate students on the MScHPE and MA Med Ed programmes. I have worked as a medical educator since 2006 in both undergraduate and postgraduate settings. My interests are online learning, curriculum development, CPD and faculty development, accessibility of learning, practical application of theory, academic and wellbeing support for learners and educators.
Research Summary
My MA dissertation looked at GP trainees as undergraduate medical student tutors, focussing on their conceptions of teaching and learning and their perceived and observed educational development needs.
