Research Summary

My research is centred on the relationships between energy, the environment, and health. I typically examine these relationships in the context of the built environment. Since 2020 I have been the research fellow for Lancet Countdown's Mitigation Actions and Health Co-benefits Working Group – contributing to research and the production of yearly reports at both a global and regional level

For the past three years I have co-lead the production of the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction annual Global Status Report, published by UNEP. Alongside traditional academic outputs, I have contributed to projects at the UK’s department of Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy.

I also produce and host the Climate Change and Health podcast for UCL, which examines the relationships between climate change and our health.

Teaching Summary
Alongside Master's supervision, I currently contribute to teaching to the UCL Energy Institute's Research Methods course. Prior to this I have taught courses on the global energy system and building energy use. I have also I worked at the UCL Writing Lab, running workshops and tutorials in a wide range of themes relating to essay and research writing.
