Research Summary
Before joining UCL, I was a strategist and copywriter at advertising agencies in Germany, Poland and Iceland, and a postdoctoral researcher at the Global Urban Research Unit in Newcastle University's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape.
I have been involved in a number of large-scale European research and innovation projects, including KATARSIS, SPINDUS, SOCIAL POLIS, SHUC, MOVE and TRANS-MAKING, that explored the role of arts, participatory planning, citizen science and social, economic and technological innovation in designing liveable cities.
My research interests include transdisciplinary urban studies, public transportation, futures studies and urban innovation through art and technology. I have published in Urban Studies, Cities, International Planning Studies and Journal of Urban Design.
