Biography
Kate's background is in social epidemiology, and she is particularly interested in the social determinants of health, administrative data and in applying causal analysis to epidemiological research. She completed her PhD at UCL in 2022.
Research Summary
Kate is a Research Fellow on the HOPE (Health Outcomes of young People throughout Education) study, where she is responsible for quantitative data analysis using biostatistical and econometric causal methods to evaluate the impact of the timing and duration of special educational needs (SEN) provision.
