Research Group: Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Refrigeration and air conditioning: In particular, William Suen's research effort has been focussing on the safety issues concerning the use of hydrocarbon refrigerants, and the influences of using refrigerant mixtures on component characteristics and system behaviour. He has also performed research work in the fields of heat, mass and energy transfers in various application domains such as building service engineering, automobile and the maritime environment.
William Suen lectures second-year students on the Thermodynamics. He takes fourth-year/MSc students for Heat Transfer and Heat Systems.
