Biography
My background is in psychology and Child & Adolescent Mental Health. I joined the Division of Psychiatry in 2019 as a Research Fellow. Since then, I supported the management and delivery of a number of (NIHR funded) research studies with children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities as well as autistic children. Prior to this, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Unit for Social and Community Psychiatry in Newham and at the University of Hertfordshire where I started my PhD part-time in 2018. In July 2022, I submitted my thesis on the use of socially assistive robots with autistic children. Between 2014-2017, I was an Assistant Psychologist. I worked in CAMHS and specialist children's services (i.e., acquired brain injury, adopted and Looked After children) across different NHS Trusts in England.
