Research Summary
My main interests are using neuroimaging techniques to explore the development of how neonates process pain, and uncovering factors which can alter this processing. Currently, I am investigating how previous painful experiences can influence pain-related brain activity and subsequently alter the development of the pain connectome.
Teaching Summary
Currently, I deliver the 'Introduction to Neuroimaging' lecture to first year anatomy students at UCL (ANAT0003), as well as being a guest lecturer a Bern University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland on the Physiotherapy MSc. There I give several lectures, providing an introduction the the development of pain processing and assessment in neonates and children.
During my PhD, I provided lectures, seminars and graded assignments on several topics including: Research methods, statistics, social psychology, and cognitive psychology. I also trained new staff and students on the basics of conducting and analysing EEG.
