Biography
Louis trained as a clinical psychologist. He has worked as a therapist and manager in the NHS. He now teaches on the Psychology and Language Science programme and works in private practice.

I'm developing undergraduate research projects into loneliness, including: (i) the protective effects of narcissism in relation to social media use, (ii) mediators of the relationship between childhood emotional neglect and adult loneliness, (iii) diathesis-stress studies of personal vulnerabilities vs environmental stressors in episodes of loneliness, and (iv) qualitative studies of types of loneliness (e.g., cultural alienation) ... and hoping to get involved in this area of research.
