Long Chen received the M.S. degree in Ocean University of China in 2017. He achieved the PhD degree in School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester in 2022. Currently, he is a research fellow with the Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, University College London (UCL).
His recent research focuses include: (1) Machine learning-based surgical image synthesis and medical image segmentation. (2) Machine learning-based underwater object detection and underwater image enhancement. (3) Deep learning-based electrocardiogram (ECG) classification and detection.
He has served as the reviewer of major journals (e.g., IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (TIP)/IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (JBHI)/IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (TCSVT)/IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (TII)/IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems/Pattern Recognition/Neurocomputing) and major conferences (e.g., CVRP/IJCAI/ICRA/BMVC) since 2016.
