My main research interests are medical image analysis and building/improving ophthalmic diagnostic technology. In general, I am motivated towards solving problems through technological innovation and have entered various competitions to that effect. I am cultivating these interests in my current lab (https://pontikoslab.com/), where we analyse health care data, genetics, and medical imaging to develop personalised decision support systems for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. My project in particular focuses on computer vision in early keratoconus case detection.
