Research Summary

Louise graduated from the University of Southampton in 1997 with a degree in Population Studies, which was followed in 1999 by an MSc in Social Statistics.  She joined St George‚Äôs, University of London as a Statistician where she worked on systematic reviews of the effects of air pollution on health and a randomised controlled trial of modes of ventilation for infants born extremely prematurely. 

These trial data formed part of her PhD at Brunel University 2004 to 2007.  After working at Brunel University as a Lecturer for a year following her PhD, she moved to the department as a Research Statistician.
