Biography
Lydia studied at the University of Leeds from 2015-2019 where she studied BSc Diagnostic Radiography (I) and MSc International Health (Distinction).

Prior to working at UCL, Lydia worked at Cancer Research UK and was on their Policy, communications and information Graduate scheme. During her time at CRUK, she worked as a Data and Research Analyst where she primarily worked on collecting and analysing international cancer prevalence, focusing on lung cancer. She also worked on CRUK's, UK-India initiative, and collected secondary data on cancer in India and contributed to an Inequalities in Cancer in the UK report. 

Interests include health inequalities, Global health, Non-communicable disease, health stigma and sickle cell disease. 
Research Summary
Lydia Okoibhole BSc MSc is a Research Assistant based in London. She is currently funded by the Contextual Awareness, Response and Evaluation: Diabetes in Ghana (CARE: Diabetes) project. 

Lydia studied at the University of Leeds from 2015-2019 where she studied BSc Diagnostic Radiography (I) and MSc International Health (Distinction). For her undergraduate degree, Lydia did a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing CT and MRI in the diagnosis on Colorectal cancer metastasis. In 2019, for her Masters research project, Lydia conducted primary qualitative research on 'Sickle Cell disease and Stigma in Young Adults in Accra, Ghana'.
