Research Summary
During his fellowship at the Department of Science and Technology Studies, UCL, Matheus will work with Professor Jordan Goodman to write an article on the entangled global histories of malaria and plague, where they will discuss how animals were integrated into the microbiological research of these two diseases and how it allowed the emergence of new scientific concepts, such as disease reservoir.
