I am a human behavioural ecologist, with a particular interest in behaviours and traits that result in non-optimal fertility. My work so far has focussed on the menopause and post-reproductive lifespan in humans, and trying to understand whether the variation we see in symptoms, timing, and post-menopausal behaviour can be explained by an evolutionary framework. Broadly, I am interested in fertility, the application of life history theory to humans, and the impact of sex ratios on human behaviour.
