Biography
I am a health scientist and I've completed my PhD and postdoctoral work in medical education at the University of Amsterdam. During my PhD I researched how to evaluate and improve learning climates in postgraduate medical education. I was also interested in understanding the link between learning climates and the safety of patient care as delivered by trainees. After my PhD, I continued working as a postdoctoral researcher and as co-supervisor of two PhD students. I was also a junior lecturer at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where I designed, taught and evaluated undergraduate courses in biomedical sciences and health sciences. I currently works as a research fellow for the Research Department of Medical Education at University College London.

Teaching Summary
I have tutored first and second year Problem-Based tutorials at Maastricht University when I was a student at Maastricht University. I also completed an Honours programme on Education and participated in the Student Council and Educational Committee for Health Sciences. During my PhD I supported third year Medicine students in writing their Bachelor thesis. Furthermore, I coached Medicine students in completing their Honours programme. As a junior lecturer I designed, taught, and evaluated courses on Health&Life sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. As a postdoctoral researcher I am co-supervising two PhD students.
