Biography
My background is in Sport & Exercise Medicine (Bachelor of Human Kinetics, University of Windsor Canada, MSc Kinesiology - Health & Exercise Psychology, McMaster University of Canada). From 2010-2016 I was a Dunhill Medical Trust Doctoral Research Training Fellow, and completed a PhD in Health & Social Care Research (King's College London, 2016). My PhD and Post-doctoral research applied qualitative and quantitative methods in the development and evaluation of behavioural interventions to facilitate exercise and physical activity among people with vascular and back pain.
In 2018, I joined UCL and NIHR ARC North Thames ("the ARC") as Research & Implementation Facilitator. I am part of a team of core professional services staff who contribute to the effective and efficient management and coordination of the ARC, building partnerships, and facilitating impact and implementation of our funded research. My interests include project and programme management, strategic research coordination, research ethics and sponsorship, evidence in practice, and partner engagement.
