My research interests focus on the role of GIS (Geographical Information Systems) and other geospatial technologies in constructing knowledge in geography education. I am currently working on a project on the use of web-based GIS applications in the creation of map curriculum artefacts for use in schools and in geography teacher education.
Most of my teaching involves working with MA students where I lead and teach on the MA Education (Geography) and teach and tutor on the MA Education and STEP programmes.
I work with doctoral students and am interested in supervising other potential doctoral candidates beyond my current students through either the PhD or the EdD routes.
