Research Summary

I am interested in physical activity behaviour, mental health and cardiovascular disease prevention. I utilise data from several large scale epidemiological studies, including Whitehall II, English Longitudinal Study of Ageing and Health Survey for England. I aim to understand the behavioural and pathophysiological processes that underlie the association between stress and CVD. In addition I am interested in psychobiological effects of physical activity and sedentary behaviour.
