Biography

Research Summary

My name is Meejee. I am a qualified primary school teacher (as well as a civil servant) in Seoul, South Korea since 2006. I started my Ph.D journey at UCL IOE in September 2017. I obtained MSc. Development Studies at SOAS, University of London (UK) and MA. in Educational Administration at Seoul National University of Education (Korea). I did my undergrad at Seoul National University of Education in Primary Education. I've also worked in Paraguay for about 1 year as a volunteer specialist of KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency), in Spain as a youth volunteer of UNESCO and in Vietnam as a education specialist of SNU IGSR (Seoul National University, Institute for Global Social Responsibility). I am interested in Global Citizenship Education, Global Learning/Education, Primary Education and Development Studies.
