Biography
My background is in Health Psychology and Public Health. I moved to UCL in March 2020 to work on the iDE@S trial which evaluates the effectiveness of recommending different digital interventions to help people reduce their alcohol consumption. In my previous role I worked as a quantitative research associate on a mixed methods project examining youth trends in drinking at the University of Sheffield.
Research Themes

Research Summary
I currently work as a Research Fellow on a large RCT examining the effectiveness of digital tools in helping people reduce their alcohol consumption. I am also involved with a number of projects which examine drinking behaviours more widely; I am particularly interested in understanding more about the contextual factors surrounding alcohol consumption and how these can be used to develop successful interventions. I also contribute to an ongoing project examining youth drinking trends.
I currently act as a supervisor for a PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield, Olivia Sexton, who is developing a tool to measure contextual information on drinking contexts.
