Biography

I am a current PhD candidate at the IoE, studying previously incarcerated women’s journey into the Labour market. Using Critical Race Theory, the study aims to examine how characteristics intersect to create different & varying forms of oppression. This research project is supervised by Professor Carol Rivas and Dr. Gillian Stokes.

Research Summary

As a multi-method researcher I’ve worked on a ranger of projects, covering topics in psychology, behavioural economics, international relations & social policy. My current interest focuses on the previously incarcerated, particularly on how race, ethnicity, and religion impact individual’s chances of success. I implement several research techniques including (but not limited to): ethnography, intersectionality framework, ANOVA & MANOVA, and regression analysis
