Dr.Mingqing Wang is a senior research fellow at Institute for Materials Discovery,University College London. She received her Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University (China).Dr. Wang has rich experience in the design, processing, and characterization of functional nanocomposites for varied applications. Her main research direction is on materials deposition and device optimization for renewable energy generation, including transparent conducting oxides electrodes, polymer/CIGS/CZTS/perovskite thin film absorbers, and antireflection layer. Except for thin film solar cells, Dr. Wang also expands her research on thin film semiconductors, high k dielectric layer, low k interlayer, and thin film barrier coating for optoelectronics such as photoelectrochemical water splitting, photodetectors, X-ray detectors, self-powered photoelectrochemical biosensor, and active-matrix display through multidiscipline collaboration with internal and international collaborations. Dr. Wang always works closely with industry partners for innovations, she has been actively involved in European FP-7(SCALENANO, NANOPV), INNOVATEUK(NOVACELL), EPSRC(Hiprospect), and H-2020(Marketplace) projects. She is in charge of H2020 Hi-accuracy project at UCL side.
