  • Research Associate
  • Imaging Neuroscience
  • UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology
  • Faculty of Brain Sciences

I was graduated from the engineering school of Centrale Marseille and obtained a MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal in 2010.

I subsequently joined Prof. M.de Mathelin’s lab at the University of Strasbourg where I obtained a Ph.D. in Magnetic Resonance Elastography for Interventional MRI.

In 2016 I began working at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging and became Deputy Head of the Physics Group in 2018.

Research Summary

My work focuses on developing methods for functional MRI in order to improve the spatio-temporal resolution without degrading the image quality. Increasing the temporal resolution in fMRI provides higher statistical power and allows to better sample the brain response. Increasing the spatial resolution offers the possibility to investigate the response of smaller structure of the brain and delineate better the functional response.

Teaching Summary

I teach on the fMRI SPM course and the Physics for SPM users short course at WCHN.
I am a lecturer on the MSc. in Advanced Neuroimaging and MSc in basic Neuroscience offered by the Institute of Neurology at UCL.
