Biography

Neil J. Mitchell is Emeritus Professor of International Relations. 

Research Summary

His current work is on leadership, delegation, accountability and the role of non-state actors in conflict and repression, including Agents of Atrocity (Palgrave MacMillan 2004), Democracy’s Blameless Leaders (New York University Press 2012) and Why Delegate? (Oxford University Press April 2021).
