Biography

I have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering obtained from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, on the topic of "Design and Development of Hybrid Autonomous Visual Tracking Algorithm for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles." During my Ph.D., I worked as an Assistant Researcher with the Aerospace Information Technology Group, Department of Computer Science, Division of Space Technology at the Julius Maximilian University, Würzburg, Germany, on the research project of "An Autonomous Sensor Network for the Detection and Observation of Meteors (ASMET)," funded by the European Union Regional Development Fund (EU-RDF). After my Ph.D., I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Mobile Perception Systems Research Lab, Signal Processing Systems Research Group, at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Eindhoven, Netherlands, on the research project of "integrated Cooperative Automated Vehicles (i-CAVE): Sensing, Mapping, and Localization," funded by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO). Later, I worked as a Research Associate with the Space Robotics Research Group, SnT Research Centre, at the University of Luxembourg, Kirchberg, Luxembourg, on the research projects of "Secure and Safe Multi-Robot Systems (SESAME)," funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 (EU-H2020), and "5G-Sky: Interconnecting the Sky in 5G and Beyond – A Joint Communication and Control Approach," funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund CORE (FNR-CORE).

I have a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. I have a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India. Also, I have a Master of Business Administration degree in Aerospace (Aerospace MBA) from the Toulouse Business School, Toulouse, France, and from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India, including international modules in Toulouse (France), Bangalore (India), Brussels (Belgium), and Seattle (USA).

Currently, I hold a position as a Research Fellow in Multi-Robot Systems with the Multi-Sensory Devices (MSD) Research Group, Department of Computer Science at the University College London (UCL), London, United Kingdom.

Key Research Areas:

Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Deep Learning with Real-World Applications for Cooperative Autonomous Vehicles, Multi-Robot Systems, Multi-UAV Systems, and Multi-Rover Systems.

Membership:

I am a Senior Member of the IEEE. Also, I am a Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and a Life Member of the Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI).

Research Summary
I am a researcher to understand better how autonomous vehicles work and their behavior in a real-world environment. My expertise includes artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. I enjoy generating new ideas and devising feasible solutions to broadly relevant problems. Specific fields of interest in designing and developing research algorithms for real-time systems include cooperative autonomous vehicles, multi-uav systems, multi-robot systems, and multi-rover systems. I have presented and published papers in international conferences and international journals.
