I use mixed methodologies and design-based research to investigate the role of technologies in young children's lives. I focus on children's reading on screen and how this affects their understanding of stories, language development and parent-child interaction. I also examine the role of technologies in pre-schools and primary schools. My current project studies personalized reading in early years.
