Mr Niko Pavlopoulos
Mr Niko Pavlopoulos profile picture

Niko is an Associate Legal Officer at the International Court of Justice. He was previously a Teaching Fellow at UCL, where he principally taught international law. He was also a Teaching Fellow at Durham Law School. He holds a PhD and an LLM (Distinction) from UCL, both in international law. Niko completed his LLB (First Class Honours) at the University of Southampton, with a year abroad at KU Leuven (Belgium).

Niko has been a Project Co-ordinator for the UCL Public International Law Pro Bono Project (2017–9), co-Academic Editor of the UCL Journal of Law and Jurisprudence (2016–7), and a coach (2015–7) and judge (2018–2021) for the Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Niko has also worked with the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, and the International Bar Association Human Rights Institute. He has also been a research assistant to a number of academics and practitioners.
