1. Improvement of sequence alignment techniques for dark proteins

3. Cath-Database related work (CATH is a database of protein domains maintained by Christine Orengo's group at UCL)

5. Development of community-based tools for bringing together protein models, annotations etc from various resources.

Ph.D. work on characterizing protein surfaces for binding associations.
1. Development of environment dependent substitution matrices to predict deleterious mutations
2. Creation of Environment dependent statistical potentials to study protein interfaces and evaluate them
3. Protein interface library creation to model protein complexes
5. Prediction and scoring of coiled-coiled interfaces
6. Prediction of hotspot residues at protein-protein interfaces
7. Study of protein-small molecule interfaces to predict off-target effects of drugs and repurposing them
8. Prediction and designing therapeutics against Nipah virus
