Biography
I have been employed as a Research Fellow and Teaching Fellow at UCL Institute of Education since 2014. I am a Chartered London Teacher and have twenty years of experience as a primary school teacher and school leader.
Research Summary
I was Research Officer on a project, funded by the Nuffield Foundation and supported by the Standards and Testing Agency, investigating the nature, prevalence and effectiveness of Key Stage 2 test preparation strategies in mathematics. I am also studying for a PhD, focussed on policy enactment in primary mathematics teaching in England.
Teaching Summary
I am Module Leader for Foundations in the Sociology of Education, on the BA Education Studies programme.
