Research Summary
Paul moved to UCL in 2017 following a year in Australia where he was a Research Fellow at Monash University (Melbourne) in the Monash Centre for Scholarship in Health Education. Paul is an experienced health professions education researcher with almost 10 years of experience in the field and has mainly conducted research in the social and behavioural sciences including medical education, health services research, and occupational psychology. He has worked on several large scale externally funded projects to explore undergraduate and postgraduate workplace based learning using mixed methods, qualitative methodology and literature reviews.
His role at UCL involves teaching and research. He is the module lead for writing a research proposal, qualitative research in clinical education and contemporary issues in clinical education. His research involves exploring fitness to practise, revalidation, and workplace based learning.
