Preethy D’Souza, is involved in undertaking qualitative and quantitative systematic reviews, providing support to review teams at EPPI-Centre since Jan 2016. She has around 10 years of experience of conducting systematic reviews in social care, education, nursing, contraception, public health, vascular surgery and child health and has expertise in developing complex search strategies, evidence synthesis and capacity building activities. She participated in conducting wide range of systematic reviews funded by National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Education Endowment fund (EEF), World Bank, College of Policing and Porticus. Preethy is a seminar leader and participate in teaching for several undergraduate and postgraduate modules at Department of Social Science, UCL Institute of Education. She also provides support to international research teams for carrying out systematic reviews in various topics including education, international development and health. She has 20 years of experience in training health professionals and conducting primary research and has first-hand work experience in India, Sultanate of Oman and UK. Presented papers and posters at several international conferences, conducted several workshops and training programs.
