Biography

I received a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Warsaw, Poland, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Education Leadership from Harvard.  At the moment, I am a part-time PhD student at UCL pursuing a research-based PhD in Education in the Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment. 

I have been teaching IBDP Biology for fifteen years. Additionally, I also taught Psychology and ESS in the IBDP. I have gained in-depth knowledge about the Diploma Programme and outstanding achievements through my role of IBDP workshop leader, subject course reader, school visitor, and consultant. I am currently employed by Seoul Foreign School where I work as a Diploma Coordinator and a DP Biology Teacher. Prior to this, I worked in Cambodia, Poland, and Qatar. I have led several workshops for IB teachers and was a breakout session speaker at the IB Global Conferences in The Hague, Yokohama, and Singapore. Among my responsibilities is working on curriculum development for DP Biology, including developing teaching support materials for the new guide. I am a visiting lecturer at National Taiwan Normal University since 2020, delivering courses to the graduate students in 'Teaching and Learning in the Diploma Programme'.

My professional interests include innovative teaching practices, dialogic feedback and authentic inquiry in the classroom for high school science students.
