I am a Lecturer (Teaching) in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Research Fellow in Rehabilitation Robotics located at the Aspire CREATe lab & WEISS centres working at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore), My main interests are developing/running studies involving robots and virtual reality helping people with pain. My PhD looked at the clinical feasibility of rehabilitation robotics and virtual reality where I created a system and implemented a study to help upper limb amputees with Phantom Limb Pain. This work is currently being expanded to other upper and lower limb pathologies. I sit on both the IET’s Healthcare Technologies and Robotics & Mechatronics Technical Network executive committees.
