I am a French and American national that completed her UG and PG studies in France. In 2007 I was invited to be part of UCL’s foundation course for international students, the UPC, based at the CLIE and moved to the UK. Over the following years I designed and taught the Modern European Culture module. In 2011 I became the course’s coordinator and overlooked the delivery, administration and recruitment for the program. Since 2015 I am in charge of recruitment and selection of our students, for which I travel each year to some of our key markets. I am also part of the Evening Courses team at CLIE where I teach French.
My MPhil focused on the role played by educational policies in private vs public bilingual schools.
I am a member of the Society into Research in Higher Education and part of UCL's Staff and Student Coordinating Group for Refugee and Forced Migrant Access to Higher Education. Since 2016, my research has focused on access to higher education, internationalism and student admissions. I have been leading the CLIE's participation into wider UCL staff and student led initiatives for access to higher education.
I am currently working on a series of essays that explore cross-cultural perceptions at work within the bilingual and bicultural (French and English) identity.
