Biography

Dr. Rebecca Bendayan has a first degree in Psychology, a Master Degree in Research in Health Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Malaga. Her thesis focused on the robustness of statistical procedures for the analysis of longitudinal data. She has also a Master Degree in Methodology of the Behavioural Sciences and Health from the UNED and she has been a visiting scholar at the University of Manchester, the University of California (Davis), and the University of Bristol.

She joined the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing at UCL in May 2014 to work in the IALSA network of longitudinal studies of ageing. She is interested in examining the relationship between health and cognitive change in ageing, with a particular interest in improving methods for the analysis of longitudinal data.
