Biography
I have a background in psychology and my interest is in the contribution psychology can make to understanding children's development and education, particularly in mathematics in the primary phase. This involves the use of tasks, self-report and informant-report questionnaires to understand the relationships between developments in numerical, cognitive, and socio-emotional skills.
I have also studied exceptional numerical skills in people with pervasive impairments, savant syndrome, and numerical difficulties in children with apparently specific impairments in language development.
