Biography

I am a Chartered Member and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Director of the Motor Executive Cognitive Interaction (MECI) Lab. In addition, I am a member of the Management Committee for the Centre for Educational Neuroscience (CEN).


I am Chair of the Faculty Education Forum for UCL Institute of Education.

Research Summary

My research focus is on working memory/executive function as it relates to academic outcomes such as reading and mathematics. I am also interested in the relationships between executive functions and dyslexia in children and adults.

  5. Zoe Price (Teachers’ perspectives of executive functions and classroom support)

Teaching Summary

I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.


I am Programme Lead for the ESRC-accredited MSc in Developmental and Educational Psychology in the Department of Psychology and Human Development


I lecture in cognitive psychology, educational neuroscience, psychology of special needs, research methods and statistics for the psychology Masters programmes.


Previously, at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London I ran various modules for the MSc Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health distance learning course. 


Prior to that, at London South Bank University I taught undergraduate and post-graduate students in neuropsychology, brain and behaviour development, developmental disorders, memory development, and quantitative research methods.
