Biography

I am a Chartered Psychologist with a PhD in cognitive psychology. I joined UCL Institute of Education in September 2018. I am currently Academic Head of Learning and Teaching and also lecture in cognitive psychology, educational neuroscience and research methods and statistics for the psychology undergraduate and Masters programmes. 

Research Summary

My research focus is in working memory and executive functions in children and adults as a means for understanding higher-order cognitive abilities and cognitive impairments.

Teaching Summary

in my current role at UCL Institute of Education I lecture in cognitive psychology, educational neuroscience and research methods and statistics for the psychology undergraduate and Masters programmes.


Previously, at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London I ran modules for the MSc programme, Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health distance learning course. 

Prior to that at London South Bank University I taught undergraduate and post-graduate students in neuropsychology, brain and behaviour development, developmental disorders, memory development, and quantitative research methods.
