  • Lecturer in Criminal Evidence and Criminal Law
  • Faculty of Laws

I am a lecturer in Criminal Evidence and Criminal Law. Before coming to UCL, I did an LLB at York and an MSc at Oxford. I then worked as a research assistant on the Criminal Law Team at the Law Commission. After that, I wrote a doctoral thesis on behaviour orders, again at Oxford. Over the course of my doctorate, I taught criminal law (Trinity, St Hugh's, Lincoln), penal theory (St Catherine's) and advanced criminal law (Faculty of Law); and was an editor at the Oxford Human Rights Hub.

Research Summary

I am interested in the theory and doctrine of criminal law, sentencing and the criminal process. Within this context, I also engage with human rights case law and theory.

Teaching Summary

Criminal Law, Criminal Processes, Criminal Process and Human Rights.
