I studied electronics and in my PhD I modelled data to infer second order variables using artificial neural networks. I applied those techniques mainly in biotechnology processes.

I am interested in the areas of systems engineering, systems thinking, business, project management, and technology management. Currently, in the next series of questions, their axes, and their overlaps.
Systems Thinking. Systems thinking is a framework for the education of the person that helps in dealing with complex systems. The framework contains several perspectives, approaches, and specific tools that can be highly effective in certain circumstances. In particular, I am interested in:
How to apply causal loop diagrams so that they are more effective?
How to ensure that models of complex system dynamics, particularly those that are fundamentally qualitative, provide greater value for organisations?
How to best take advantage of the value of soft systems methodology to achieve organisational change?
Organisational effectiveness in Engineering. Systems engineering, seen as the application of a systemic view to the creation and management of systems of any nature, combines systems thinking with the awareness of all operations related to engineering, the business, its contexts and its applications. In this sense, systems engineering management is the detailed and deep understanding of the organisational dynamics embedded in a real context and with a value proposition recognised as such and, therefore, improves organisational effectiveness and efficiency. How to achieve the best alignment between management and engineering? How to grow organisational maturity (achieve a high probability of consistent and recurring success) in complex contexts, mainly by promoting organisational self-awareness? How to achieve greater resilience in people and organisations for greater sustainability?
Education/learning. How to get the learner to commit more deeply with their own education, mainly promoting their self-awareness? How to evaluate the learning achievements of a student in the most beneficial way for the person? What is the best balance for learning experiences in terms of, practical/theoretical mix; online/blended
I am the main tutor in the open Systems Thinking Workshop at UCL.
