Research Summary

My research is focused on the evolution of morphological diversity through time. I use geometric morphometrics, 3-D visualization, and phylogenetic methods to understand how the component parts of organisms relate to one another (i.e., modularity and integration) and how these interactions have shaped evolvability, disparity, and variation across the tree of life.

In pursuit of these goals, I use paleontological and neontological data across a variety of clades, including birds, dinosaurs, crocodylians, mammals and more.

Teaching Summary
I am a lecturer in human anatomy for the UCL Medical School, primarily working in the year 1 Circulation and Breathing and Fluids, Metabolism and Nutrition modules. I also within the Faculty of Life Sciences and Biomedical Sciences, such as ANAT0001 and ANAT0004.
