Biography
My background is in managing projects in the development sector. Initially I worked with projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America focussed on health, governance and strengthening livelihoods. More recently I've worked on a national initiative in the UK to ensure people accessing health and social care services were defining national research priorities. I joined UCL in 2020 to manage the Evaluation Exchange, a collaboration that aims to build evaluation and research skills in the not-for-profit sector and amongst students and researchers.
Research Summary
I am supporting the evaluation of a UCL project that aims to address matters of importance relevant to health and sustainability in cities in Africa, Asia and Europe.
I have developed partnerships with Higher Education Institutions in the UK and other countries and worked with researchers from across the World to inform the practical implementation of development projects.
My personal research interests often focus on effective management within projects that aim to create a positive change and the role of the individual within the change process.
Teaching Summary
I am a trained trainer and have experience developing training courses for people working in community and international development for students, researchers and professionals from the private sector, not-for-profit and health sectors.
