Teaching
I am passionate about teaching and I am committed to deliver high-quality, up-to-date, interactive and entertaining teaching. I am Programme Director of the Master of Science (MSc) in Oral Medicine at UCL Eastman Dental Institute and provide regular lectures, seminars and clinical teaching to the MSc in Oral Medicine and a number of other postgraduate Programmes at the Eastman Institute.
I also provide teaching beyond UCL, as I am regularly invited to lecture at national and international conferences and seminars, as well as at educational events organised by local and national educations bodies (e.g. UCLH and Health Education England). I have delivered lectures to small, medium and large (300+) groups of delegates.
Examinations
I regularly run viva voce examinations for the MSc in Oral Medicine and other Programmes at the Eastman Institute. I regularly prepare and mark written examinations for the above Programmes. I have been Chair of the Board of Examiners of the MSc in Oral Medicine and internal examiner/member of the Board of Examiners for the MSc in Special Care Dentistry.
